# cowboy dashboard

> Connect your CLI wallet to the dashboard

`cowboy dashboard connect` lets a dashboard page in your browser use this CLI's wallet. Start the pairing in the browser, which shows the pairing id to pass here. Without a policy file, every signing request asks for your approval in the terminal.

```text theme={"system"}
cowboy dashboard [OPTIONS] <COMMAND>
```

| Command | Description |
| - | - |
| [`connect`](#cowboy-dashboard-connect) | Connect this CLI wallet to a browser-started dashboard pairing. Alias: `login`. |

## cowboy dashboard connect

Connect this CLI wallet to a browser-started dashboard pairing

```text theme={"system"}
cowboy dashboard connect [OPTIONS] --dashboard-url <DASHBOARD_URL> --pair-id <PAIR_ID>
```

| Option | Description |
| - | - |
| `--dashboard-url <DASHBOARD_URL>` | Exact dashboard origin (HTTPS, or HTTP localhost for local work) |
| `--pair-id <PAIR_ID>` | Pairing identifier shown by the browser; the wallet must match that page |
| `--port <PORT>` | Loopback-only provider port; zero selects an available port. Default: `0`. |
| `--policy-file <POLICY_FILE>` | Explicit bounded automation policy file for this test wallet. Without one every signing request requires terminal approval |
