## What happened

Deferred payer \{payer} cannot fund the child's maximum fee: required \{required}, available \{available}.

This is the receipt's `what` text, produced by the node's `ExecutionError::DeferredPayerUnfunded`. Placeholders in braces are filled from the failing transaction.

## Why it happened

The node rejected the operation with `E1015` (category `gas`, Gas). The receipt's `why` field carries the specific cause and `context` carries structured details, such as the values that filled the placeholders above.

The normative rule is in CIP-43.

## How to fix

Fund the deferred child's payer (the emitting actor, then its FallbackToOwnerBalance owner) with at least the receipt's `required` before the child runs, or turn owner funding back on with `cowboy actor owner-funding <actor> --on`. The child was consumed and will not retry.
