# E1060 — Invalid routes

| Property | Value |
| - | - |
| **Code** | `1060` |
| **Slug** | `E1060` |
| **Category** | `validation` (Validation) |
| **CIP** | CIP-15 §6.9 |

## What happened

Invalid routes: \{0}.

This is the receipt's `what` text, produced by the node's `ExecutionError::InvalidRoutes`. Placeholders in braces are filled from the failing transaction.

## Why it happened

The node rejected the operation with `E1060` (category `validation`, Validation). The receipt's `why` field carries the specific cause and `context` carries structured details, such as the values that filled the placeholders above.

The normative rule is in CIP-15 §6.9.

## How to fix

Fix the routes table the deployment or upgrade carries: it must decode and validate, be canonically encoded, be non-empty, mount only volumes in the actor's ingress.http static\_volumes, and pair runner routes with a sponsorship ceiling correctly (CIP-15 §6.9).
